Juniper Estate from Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River winegrowing area are some of the oldest vineyards in the area. The maritime influence of the Indian ocean and Mediterranean climate makes Margaret River ideal for premium grape growing…. the spectacular backdrop of hardwood forests and pristine coastline lifts my spirit every visit!

Notes from the winemaker ..“Selective hand picking, gentle whole bunch pressing directly to barrel, wild or ‘free range’ yeast and lees stirring are all techniques aimed at producing a complex yet naturally balanced wine with a cellaring potential of up to 10 years.”
A complex and alluring nose with smoky flinty aromas from the wild ferment plus lemon zest, jasmine, white stone fruit, ginger and freshly baked honey/oatmeal biscuits from the oak. While there is an element of restraint and poise, the palate has wonderful fleshy stone fruit texture and flavour along with citrus, pear, roasted almonds and nougat with smooth mouth watering acidity guiding the long finish.
