96 points, James Halliday “Clones 777 and MV6, the standard Oakridge vinification ever seeking maximum expression of the variety and sense of place. Good colour; the penetration of the wine is a feature deriving from the inherent purity and natural balance of red and black cherry fruit. Wonderful wine.
93 Points, Mike Bennie, The Wine Front “This is a nice pinot noir, nice in that sense of niceness and be polite and don’t say anything untoward. Smoky-mineral notes over ripe cherry, sloshes in the palate pleasingly, tart, cranberry tang and leafiness to finish. There’s a good burr of tannins, fresh acidity, a transparency that feels designed and appealing. It’s an easy wine to see some pedigree in, restraint, coolness, no hair out of place. Nice.”
