The Pulenta family is a pioneering wine family of 3 generations working in Mendoza (previous owners of internationally renowned Trapiche) with an intimate knowledge and understanding of their vineyards. Their wines have received high praise internationally. No doubt these guys are a benchmark producer in Mendoza and one of Argentina’s greats!
100% handpicked estate grown malbec from Finca ‘La Zulema’,the second of the family’s two estate vineyards located at the heart of Mendoza’s premier growing region – Luján de Cuyo – in the town of Alto Agrelo. Vines are planted at an altitude of 980 meters. Wild yeast fermentation and maturation in French oak ( 50% new for 12 months).
From the winery about this vintage: “It has an attractive and bright violet colour with aromas of red fruits like strawberries and cherries with delicate presence of flowers such as violets and lilac. In the palate it is round, pleasant and very persistent. Its elegant structure on the palate and balance shows the benefits of both terroirs.”
