Calling all Chablis lovers!
Father and son team Jean-Hugues and Guilhem Goisot are fanatical about their certified biodynamic vineyards. Located in the Yonne region of France (a few kms south west of Chablis) their wines are everything you’d expect from a great Chablis for a fraction of the price. Leading authority on Burgundy, Allen Meadows of Burghound said “No one but no one delivers more quality for the price than Goisot. The quality is flat out amazing..”
100% Chardonnay. Sizzling value as always, the ’10 is an intense, pristine citrus, grapefruit and green apple noted wine with a racy structure, good texture and a deliciously refreshing finish. Partial barrel fermentation in this blend.
“An expressive nose of floral, citrus and spice is framed in a discreet touch of wood that can also be seen on the delicious, delineated and intense flavors that possess real verve on the sappy and persistent finish. This offers terrific quality for its level and the wood should be absorbed quickly.” 88 points, drink 2013+, Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Issue 44.
