Description

From humble beginnings in 1880 as a truffle orchard, the vineyard was converted over to vines in the early 1900’s making it today one of the largest Domaines in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence area. The vineyard is situated 420m above sea-level and aspect is south-west which allows it to receive around 300 days of sunshine. Farmed organically, the AIX Rose is made from the top blend of Maison Saint Aix.

About the 2024 vintage: The grapes were of exceptional quality, laying the foundation for another remarkable vintage. 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Cinsault. A hypnotizing pale pink color with notes of citrus, wild berries, and white peach. Refreshingly crisp and dry with a mineral finish.

It’s also floral and delicate. Crisp and dry, slaivating and tense, flavours mirror the boquuet with peach and plum then citrus and floral contrasts. Balanced and well made, dry on the finish with fine tannins for added texture. Best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2027.”
