This is beautiful sangiovese made by leading producer with depth of fruit, considerable weight and a lick of french oak …( tasted January 2015).  Recommend decanting and or time in cellar.

Clean veins of minerality give the wine its considerable focus and energy. This is an especially understated wine from Fonterutoli, but it works.  A clean, vibrant finish of stone fruits, flowers and spices resonates on the close. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.”
