Description
Second label of leading Barossa winemaker, Kym Teusner made specifically for restaurants has made a splash.
Round Two is a range of generously flavoured and very affordable Barossa Valley wines courtesy of a partnership between two good mates – winemaker Kym Teusner and grape grower Warwick Murray.
From vineyards in the Eastern Barossa Valley, the grapes are destemmed and fermented for five days with twice daily pump overs by hand. Matured in seasoned oak puncheons and hogs heads for 14 months.
This full bodied single vineyard Cabernet sauvignon from their Angaston vineyard is all about ripe juicy fruit, cassis, black currant, licorice, mint and earthy, tobacco tones. Ripe dark fruit flavours dominate the palate. Fine even tannin profile offers structural support and maintains length. Drink now or cellar up to 5 years. Unbeatable value.
Barossa Cabernet is often under appreciated but good spice, depth and structure here.
