95 points, James Halliday “Includes 4% malbec, part hand-picked, part machine-harvested, destemmed, cultured yeast, matured in French barriques (33% new) for 16 months, then a barrel selection. Full, healthy colour; savoury, spicy black fruits on the medium to full-bodied palate join with cedary oak and tannins. A cool-grown style with a faint whisper of mint (not a negative). High quality wine.”
