Yarraloch Pinot Noir 2008 “impressive and beautifully made wine.”

Gary Walsh, from The Winefront is clearly a fan of the 2010 YarraLoch Pinot Noir.  Here he rates it 93 points and says…”It’s getting increasingly difficult to spend as much time as I’d like with some wines; this is one of them. Complexity. Spicy whole bunch components, mineral, cranberry and cherry the main flavour players. It’s got good weight and texture along with sweet ripe fruit, and while it’s a touch sappy, it’s also firm and strong willed. A layer of sweet creamy oak serves to soften some of the frown lines. Lovely dry finish and no problems with length. Needs a little more time in bottle to settle, but there’s no doubting it’s an impressive and beautifully made wine.”
