2008 YarraLoch Chardonnay received the following glowing review from Jeremy Oliver in the Australian Wine Annual 2012 and 95 points … “An excellent complete, complex and balanced chardonnay whose lightly smoky bouquet of grapefruit, melon and waxy floral notes is backed by meaty notes, lime juice and minerals. Long and complete, it’s sumptuous and fruit-driven, with a deep expression of fruit, smoky reductive undertones, a fine marly undercarriage and a tightly focused cut of tangy, mineral acids. It finishes quite savoury, with genuine length and direction.”
