On Thursday 7th October 2010 the Vine Press will host Vino Argentino!

Purity of light, clean air, high elevation and the back drop of the Andes set Argentine wine apart from every other wine producing nation. Argentina is the world’s 5th largest wine producer with a proud tradition dating back to the 1550’s. The wine growing region of Mendoza is famous for producing the world’s finest Malbec – a plush red with juicy fruit notes, violet aromas and fine grained, dry tannins – other aromatic whites such as Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc also benefit from the long growing season, sunlight and cold nights to produce elegant wines which are uniquely Argentinian.

Featuring wines from Pulenta Estate,  Jed Wines, Alpamanta and others this will be a great opportunity to broaden your wine knowledge and discover all that Argentinian wine has to offer. Sipping on these wines will have you hearing the accordion and feeling the intensity and style of the tango!  A fun night of tasting with the winemakers and special offers.
