Sons of Eden were awarded 2 Trophys (Top Gold and best in class) in 2 benchmark categories at the recent 2009 Barossa Wine Show.
The Barossa Wine Show is the only show Sons of Eden submit their wines to as it provides a great chance to see where their styles sit in relation to their peers and to be critically judged by some of Australia’s most respected judges.
The Remus 2006 Shiraz Eden Valley won the Trophy for Best Mature Dry Red Shiraz, Vintage 2006 and Older. This follows from a Gold medal in the same class for the Remus 2005 Shiraz Eden Valley in the 2008 Barossa Wine Show.
The Sons of Eden Kennedy 2007 GSM won the Trophy for The Best Dry Red, Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvedre, Vintage 2008 and Older.
The Sons of Eden Freya 2009 Riesling Eden Valley and Romulus 2006 Shiraz Barossa Valley both received Silver medals while the Zephyrus 2007 Shiraz Viognier Barossa Valley was awarded a Bronze medal in this years Show.
