Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir 2010 .. 95 points The Wine Front.

Scotchmans Hill Pinot Noir 2010 hit the spot for Gary Walsh of The Wine Front … He scored it 95 points and wrote this …“I have found a fondness, surprisingly, for Bellarine and Geelong Pinot Noir.  A little meaty, pepper and spice, dark fruit and incense, creamy vanilla oak. Medium to full in weight with layered dark spices and a heady mouth perfume – strong acidity, dark cherry, rhubarb and an appealing tannin structure – powdery and open weave – fanning out on the finish. Pleasing dryness and brooding savoury appeal here. A Marlon Brando Pinot (younger days, obviously) and good value too. Should take some bottle age.”
