Will Nairn planted his vineyard in Baldivis on the coast of WA between Perth and Margaret River back in 1974. His philosophy to winemaking is intense flavours with complexity and balance. He has been a pioneer of Chenin blanc in Australia. He is passionate about Vouvray, France and the extraordinary longevity of chenin blanc.
This full bodied white is rich intense, mouthfilling ( juicy apples. pears and more ish toasty oak) with lipsmacking acidity and freshness. It develops complex honeyed characters after several years which make it an intriguing wine with food. Many Peel wooded Chenin Blanc wines are still improving at 15 years of age.
