Winemaker Mark Messenger (at leading Margaret River winery, Juniper Estate) has weaved his magic with this fine white blend (64% Semillon and 36% Sauvignon Blanc).
From another excellent Margaret River vintage, this lovely fresh fruity style of wine shows passionfruit, gooseberry, green apple, citrus fruit characters along with jasmine, lemon grass, capsicum & a touch of fresh herbs. The mouth filling palate is smooth and very textural being full of juicy fruit with hints of herb and spice with a long and refreshing finish. 10% of the semillon was barrell fermented in mostly new French barrels to aid in building extra texture and palate weight.
