Elegant Yarra Valley Pinot made by chief winemaker Willy Lunn at Yering Station.  Aromatics of cherries and plums with beautiful balance and silky tannins.  Excellent value for money here!

90 Points and Wine of The Week SMH 9/7/13 by Huon Hooke … “Toolangi’s vineyard, near Dixons Creek, is largely chardonnay and pinot noir and this pinot was made at Yering Station and Hoddles Creek Estate. The 2011 Yarra vintage produced lighter bodied pinots often with pale colours. This is certainly light but it’s a charming wine, and good value for money. Its floral, strawberry and raspberry aromas are fresh and primary; the taste is very attractive and it has more depth of flavour than many ‘11s, with an appropriate, light tannin grip and respectable length. This style of pinot simply needs to be paired with the right foods; that is, lighter flavours. Drink now to 2018.”
