Leading Barossa vintner. Kym Teusner has produced extraordinary wine here!! A classic Rhone blend 60% grenache 20% shiraz 20% mataro. The grenache and mataro fruit is all sourced from low yielding dry grown 70 to 100 year old vineyards.
Dark cherries. kirsch. red berry grenache fruit with layers of spice. some earthy. leathery and roast meat characters beautifully integrated on the palate (16 months maturation in old French oak has brought out the earthy. savoury characters in the grenache) with long fine persistent tannins. Kissed by some bottle age. enjoy this classic Barossa GSM.
