Shane McLaughlin established the chemical free Canonbah Bridge vineyard on the very large Merryanbone Station on the western plains of NSW. a Merino sheep stud that has been in the family for four generations. This region 600 km north west of Sydney. and classed as the edge of the outback! provides a combination of long. warm ripening days and conversely cool nights. Its isolation safeguards the vineyard from disease spread while the dry climate eliminates mould and fungal issues. enabling a chemical free approach to the vines.
The Ram ‘s Leap range of wines are all estate grown. Made from free run Shiraz juice with minimal skin contact. this is bursting with strawberries and cherries. perfumed nose with a lively crisp finish.
