“Stylish Shiraz of poise and elegance. Silky smooth palate with fine ripe tannins. fine grained oak and excellent fruit all held nice together. The palate has a spicy character. which is sustained. Lingers in the mouth. Still needs a little time to really come together. ” Ray Jordan
“While I haven ‘t always been a fan of the Picardy Shiraz (preferring the elegance of its Pinot). in 2005 the Pannells have nailed it so comprehensively that I ‘m thinking of eating humble pie. This is superb supple. round and fleshily smooth with good depth and density of blackberry and mulberry flavours. a cedary oak edge. and substantial ripe. fine knit tannins that are held in check by it ‘s fruit weight. Power and opulence make this a bargain of moun mental proportions. Limited availability. Quaff on! ” Peter Forrestal. RRP $37
