Diletta Malenchini runs the winery and olive grove(the vineyard has been in the Malenchini family for more than 200 years natural philosophy with minimal herbicides/ pesticides in the vineyard).
A blend of sangiovese (90%) with a touch of canaiolo. The vineyard is located in the hills just outside Florence “Colli Fiorentini ” We were impressed with this juicy chainti rich round dark berried fruit with some savoury leather and spice with fine tannins good depth of fruit. palate weight and personality! Very smart value for money and dangerously more ish with pizza and pasta!
