Langmeil is home to what is believed to be the worlds oldest surviving shiraz vineyard. planted in 1842. Fruit from old vines (some 100 yrs old). hands on winemaking. gentle de stemming. open fermentation and basket pressing. minimal filtration and no fining this is pure Barossa Shiraz.

90/100 Ray Jordan ‘s Top 100 Australian Reds. The West Australian. 27 June 2013 “Plenty of dark. savoury and slightly earthy Barossa fruit in this tidy young wine. It ‘s distinctly fruit driven with a supple mouth feel and texture created with minimal oak and dominated by lush. ripe shiraz fruit. Has some appealing sweet red berry and slightly raspberry characters on the palate with a hint of licorice on the finish. “
