I am often afflicted with Devils Whiskers 2 little marks appear on my top lips when drinking rouge!

Robert Parker is fan of this leading McLaren Vale winery “.. a knack for turning out high quality efforts…all classic McLaren Vale cuvees with a sense of balance and restraint suggestive of European influence however there is no compromise of the wines flavours or ripeness levels.

My favourite wine of the lineuop at a recent tastings extraordinary fruit and structure for a $30 wine. Powerful shiraz with concentration . structure and moreish tar ( french oak) on finish with fragrance and suppleness on palate ( splash of viognier in blend) Definitely a wine of yin and yang. Decanting this wine revealed so many dimensions over the evening. 94 pts Halliday. Superb drinking here. RRP $37
