Margaret River is Australia ‘s leading region for Cabernet Sauvignon thanks to the long ripening season and cool maritime climate. Dry grown low yielding cabernet sauvignon from their 33 yr old vineyard. An extraordinary wine with intense black currant fruit. fine grained tannins with more ish savoury tar and tobacco leaf depth. Recommend decanting this wine for at least an hour. We tasted this wine up against Vasse Felix Heytsbury at $ 65 and it certainly held it ‘s head high. This is what top shelf cabernet is all about. Plenty of cellaring potential here. Huon Hooke loved their 02 and gave it 93pts/100 The 03 is as good! RRP $52
