This flagship wine comprises handpicked fruit sourced from low yielding vines from the higher/cooler sights of Uco Valley in Mendoza. Argentina provided complex flavours and fine ripe tannins. Rigorous fruit selection has also contributed power and complexity to this powerful full bodied red with brooding rich dark berry fruit. tar. aniseed and hint of floral fragrance. Great concentration & length. fine grained tannins. beautifully integrated french oak and balance. doesn ‘t hurt to decant this to reveal layers of flavour. This red is a treat bring on the roast!
Their last 2009 release won Blue Gold at 2013 Sydney International Wine Show.
