Description
Frankland River produces some of the best shiraz in Australia and James Kellie has sourced the fruit from the region ‘s best low yielding vineyards. I love this wine because it is so damn complex .. ripe plum. ripe blackberry. dark chocolate and tarry/ liquorice flavours (reminiscent of the Rhone Valley). All this thanks to the regions warm days and cool nights. low rainfall and “mean ” gravely soils. Rich complex red with fine grained tannins and layers of complexity.
This wine is now known as their Reserve label … It certainly sings after some bottle age in the cellar!
