Complex wine black cherry and plum. dark chocolate. liquorice and spice. Plenty of rich and supple tannins complemented by a long and spicy finish. 100% handpicked estate grown fruit (Rare Burgundian clones isolated by Dijon University from best Pinot vineyards in Burgundy) 20 yr old vineyard. 10 mths maturation in new and older French oak.
Hard work is definitely paying off..another smart Pinot release from a great vintage in WA. Winemaker notes…. A complex. perfumed nose of black cherries. dried flowers and rich dark chocolate. The use of the new clones has introduced a rich complexity to the wine. Primary flavours of cherries and plums marry with darker liquorice and coffee characters. The tannins are rich and supple complemented by a long and spicy finish.
