Granrojo is a determined winery that are making some very tidy wines. 100% garnacha. an expression of selected fruit from the vineyards ( Fruit hails from D.O. Valdapenas. south of Madrid not far from La Mancha) Floral geranium. bright red fruits. mace spice and crunchy dusty raspberries and some savoury characters. Medium bodied. perfectly defined clean fruit with soft tannins. This bargain was a hit at our tasting and is a delight to drink! Bring on the jamon. pizza and pasta.
