In 1988 this Champagne house (founded in 1760 and located in the heart of the Cote des Blancs in Mesnil sur Oger) joined forces with the famous Champagne Salon synonymous with the most prestigous single vineyard blanc de blanc (100% chardonnay) vintage champagne.
Basically in the yrs Salon is not produced. the grapes go into Delamotte. so extraordinary quality and value. Chardonnay dominant champagne. 100% Grand Crus from the 3 villages of Le Mesnil Sur Oger. Avize and Oger ..Cuvee comprises 50% chardonnay 30% pinot noir 20% Pinot Meunier. 36 mths on lees. Layers of apple and citrus fruit flavour. freshly baked brioche fine. long and utterly delicious.
