This 2012 blend comprises 67% barrel fermented Semillon (25% new French) from Mt Compass and Adelaide Hills. with 33% Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc fermented in stainless steel. 2012 season produced a near perfect growing season long ripening without any adverse weather. Great concentration of fruit. excellent line and length. This wine was inspired by white Bordeaux to give you an idea of style… Great food wine. Light straw in colour. the nose shows restrained tropical fruits accompanied by lemongrass and a hint of brioche. After 12 months in bottle this wine is singing ! Gorgeous wine brimming with citrus. guava and mineral zing followed by more ish toasty characters leading into a long. crisp mouthwatering finish.
