Plenty of pure. focused fruit flavours with succulent tropical fruits contrasting with red capsicum and a hint of nettles. A ripe example of the Awatare style. A stylish wine with power. 91 points. 4 stars. ”
Their 2008 release was also listed as a Best Buy under $20 in Oct /Nov Australian Gourmet Traveller wine. The 2009 vintage was a better season overall. long and consistent.
What amazes me is the balance and complexity of this Sauvignon Blanc which held its head high when we tasted it alongside Isabel Sauvignon Blanc which retails for $28. Staggering quality and value.
