“Made by the people at Scotchmans Hill. and as I always like to say. Marlborough Pinot Noir may be a fair way from being the ultimate or the best region for Pinot. but it makes for a lovely drink at a decent price more often than not. Typical Kiwi Pinot smells “ red fruits. spice. a little sap and some attractive creamy oak. It ™s light and fresh with a slightly creamy texture mingling with the more sappy acidic main thrust it ™s lovely to drink “ has good balance. high drinkability and an easy going sort of charm. Lots to like here. Rated 90. Gary Walsh from The Wine Front comments about the 2008.
We are happy with this 2010 release it ‘s complex with juicy concentration of dark fruits. spice. some tension and acid kick. A smart pinot offering for the price
