Crafted by renowned Geelong producer, this is classy cool climate shiraz (100% estate grown fruit) with concentrated dark berried fruit, licorice, smoked meats and plenty of spice (thanks to maturation in French oak). Reminds me of the northern rhone wines. This offers terrific drinking pleasure.
From the winery … “This is a rich and full flavoured Shiraz delivering complex savoury characters. Dark fruits and red plum flavours, spice and licorice with a touch of briar and a charry oak finish. The wine is supported by firm acid and fine grained tannins which give it length, balance and structure. This elegant wine will cellar well over the next 5 to 8 years.”
