Crafted by renowned Geelong producer. this is classy cool climate shiraz (100% estate grown fruit) with concentrated dark berried fruit. licorice. smoked meats and plenty of spice (thanks to maturation in French oak). Reminds me of the northern rhone wines. With a few year ‘s bottle age this offers terrific drinking pleasure.

The winery formula hand picked. destemmed. cold soaked for five days. then seven days wild yeast fermentation in small vats. matured in new to four year old Troncais oak for 15 months. The medium bodied and fresh fruit belies the 14.5% alcohol. and the wine has abundant red and black fruit flavours.
