Massena again rated 5 red star winery by Halliday.

Massena were again rated 5 red stars, which is the highest rating in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion for 2011. The Moonlight Run Shiraz 2008 was also included in the top wines of this style and had three wines rated at 94 points.  This is what Halliday had to say of the 2007 Looting Duke Shiraz: “More purple tinges to the colour than Eleventh Hour, and there is more structure; the mix of blackberry, plum and bitter chocolate is supported by fine, ripe tannins and balanced oak; the alcohol is less overt, too.”
