Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 an “overdelivering wine”.

Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 was reviewed by Campbell Mattinson from The Winefront.  He not only scored it 92 Points he gave it this glowing review.. “A friend asked me recently whether it was still possible to find ‘budget’ reds that would cellar well … I would have been better just opening a bottle of this Longhop Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 and saying, Yes. It’s a bargain as a drink-now proposition, but it will cellar well for 4-8 years, if you so desire. Might even go longer than that. It tastes of blackcurrant, dust, eucalypt and toasty vanillin oak. It has enough tannin, but not too much. Enough flavour, without being in any way over-blown. It’s the kind of balanced, well-made, well-flavoured, overdelivering wine that once upon a time put Australia on the map.”
