Harewood Estate Shiraz 2007 from Western Australia’s Great Southern got a cracking review from Peter Bourne in the Best Buys section of Apr/May Gourmet Traveller Wine.

He wrote: “Drawn from the outstanding 2007 vintage, it’s a spicy interpretation of the variety with lots of dark plum and blackberry fruit flavours, a hint of cinnamon and chocolate bullets.  Rich but not heavy, its a delightful drink, especially with a traditional lamb roast.  Time will be kind – so squirrel some away for five years to see it at its pinnacle.”
