Harewood Estate Reserve Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2011 was voted “Best of the Best” in the Sem Sav Blanc category by James Halliday in his 2013 Australian Wine Companion. He wrote… “Restraint and perfume are not the usual hallmark of this blend in Australia, but this example is fragrant, perfumed and enticing; gun flint, tropical fruits, namely papaya and a fresh edge of nettle; the palate is sweet-fruited, textured and long, fine and evenly poised; restraint is definitely the key here.”
