Eden Road Wines from the Canberra district is “a force to be reckoned with”.

The Canberra district is home to some of Australia’s most exciting cool climate wineries and without a doubt Eden Road is proof of this.  They recently purchased some of the oldest vineyard in the region on the volcanic granite soils made famous by their neighbour, Tim Kirk of Clonakilla. After only 2 vintages they have managed to win the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy, receive Halliday’s 5 star winery rating and win ‘Best New Winery’ in the SMH/Age Good Wine Guide 2011.
They are nothing to do with the Eden Valley… this is about a vision, an ideal –  their “road to the garden of Eden”, to create distinctive, clean and pure wines from cool climate Canberra district and high grown wines of NSW.
