dal zotto sangiovese 2008 rated 91 points by campbell mattinson

Dal Zotto Sangiovese 2008 was reviewed last year by Campbell Mattinson.   He wrote: “The King Valley’s Dal Zotto winery seems to be going from strength to strength and this Sangiovese – especially if you can let it rest for another six months or so – is another good release.

Quite savoury and grainy, almost bitter. In an attractive way though. Good ripeness and freshness. Good acidity. Flavours of hazelnut and dark cherry. Excellent tannin formation. Very juicy finish. Like the way this wine is heading. Rated : 91 Points”
