Gary Walsh from The Winefront said this: “Made by the people at Scotchmans Hill, and as I always like to say, Marlborough Pinot Noir may be a fair way from being the ultimate or the best region for Pinot, but it makes for a lovely drink at a decent price more often than not. Typical Kiwi Pinot smells – red fruits, spice, a little sap and some attractive creamy oak. It’s light and fresh with a slightly creamy texture mingling with the more sappy acidic main thrust……it’s lovely to drink – has good balance, high drinkability and an easy going sort of charm.
