By Farr Sangreal Pinot Noir 2012 has really impressed Campbell Mattinson from The Wine Front. He rated it 94 points and said .. “This is an excellent release, bordering on exceptional. Winemaker Nick Farr describes 2012 as a year of “lazy winemaking”, in that it was all too easy, and this wine has that effortless feel to it. Effortless flavour, effortless complexity, effortless length. Cherry-plum fruit, refreshing but perfectly balanced acidity, silken mouthfeel and dried herb/spice notes. Oak is beautifully integrated. Wonderful drinkability. Not much more you can ask for.”
