By Farr Farrside Pinot Noir 2012 “star wine of the year” says The Wine Front.

By Farr Farrside Pinot Noir 2012 has scored a big fan in Campbell Mattinson from the Wine Front.   He rated this 96 points and said … “Stunning release of pinot noir from By Farr under the Farrside name.  This is beautiful. It’s something of a watermark. It’s spicy and lengthy and silken and complex. It’s all that you’d want and hope pinot noir to be; and it will age. It tastes of plum and soy and crushed spice and undergrowth, though at all times it seems kempt and well disciplined. It has many facets yet it’s also seamless. I kept thinking: there’s lots of ashen, spicy, stalky notes here and yet they’re so intricately woven. In short, it’s stellar. It will be one of the star wines of the year.
