Bird in Hand Winery’s newly released 2009 Bird in Hand Chardonnay has been awarded 5 stars and Top in Category by Winestate Magazine.
The Bird in Hand Chardonnay 2009 has already collected a Gold medal at the 2010 International Cool Climate Wine Show held in Mornington Peninsula. The wine has been fermented and matured for nine months in French oak barriques. Partial wild yeast and malolactic fermentation techniques and persistent lees stirring, has enhanced the texture and complexity. Lifted aromas of white peach and pear are supported by underlying flint characteristics. The lush palate has complex stone fruit with mineral and citrus undertones. Stock is limited so get in quick!
