Ashton Hills Estate Pinot Noir 2010 receives 94 points, Tyson Steltzer

Ashton Hills Estate Pinot Noir 2010 has just arrived into our cellars.   Just released, it is already receiving cracking reviews … like this one from Tyson Steltzer who rated it 94 points.  He wrote “There is a purity and a detail to Stephen George’s Estate Pinot Noir that can only be attributed to devoting decades to understanding the nuances of a great site. 2010 is a vintage of style, poise and balance. Deep-set black cherry and mixed berry compote fruit is spiced with layers of forest floor, mixed spice, herbal nuances, even savoury suggestions of game. A long-lingering mouthfeel glides with a silky integration, thanks to bright acidity and soft, supple tannins, enhanced with whole bunch fermentation.
