Ashton Hills 2009 Estate Pinot Noir won the equal highest medal awarded for Pinot Noir at the 2010 Cool Climate Wine Show and gained 95points in James Halliday’s 2012 Australian Wine Companion. Halliday wrote: “Strong purple-red, no sign of development yet; has that unmistakable Ashton Hills stamp of texture missing from almost all other Adelaide Hills pinots; the fragrant bouquet leads with spiced plum that is picked up by the multi-flavoured, multi-textured palate.” Highly recommend trying this fine Pinot!
