Joint venture between old friends Domenic Torzi and Tim Freeland. Old Plains Wine Co source grapes grown from the last remaining old vine vineyards in the Adelaide Plains. Full of dark fruit power that only hand made basket pressed wines can offer…the cabernet adds glorious structure and fine grained tannins. A touch of bottle age offers beautiful drinking.

It ™s full bodied. ripe and luscious but not over powering or heavy “ layers of fruit loll on a thick mattress of velveteen tannins. Flavours of blood plums and savoury oak crop up on the finish. Somewhat obvious. although pretty and highly appealing. No question marks over quality and integrity either. “
