A Celebration of Spring Tasting – Thursday 22nd September, 2011

Come and  join us for our Celebration of Spring Tasting on Thursday 22nd September in Sydney’s CBD featuring the wines of By Farr, Lost Valley and Gosset Champagne

Winemaker Nick Farr (part of father/son team at By Farr/Farr Rising) will be on hand to talk you through their award winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnays from Geelong in Victoria.  Their ’09 Pinots scored 97 points, (the top rated pinots in the land) in Halliday’s newly released 2012 Australian Wine Companion.

From the Victorian high country near Mount Buller hail the wines from Lost Valley – their range of wines – Shiraz, Merlot, Sav Blanc and Australia’s only Cortesee (named as one of the “Top 10 Cult Wines of Australia”) – are poured at leading establishments such as Tetsuyas, Qantas First Class and The House of Lords!

And just in time for all the celebrations to come we bring you Gosset from the world’s oldest Champagne house.  For champagne afficionados around the world (me included!) Gosset is the ultimate in luxury champagne.  Their Grande Reserve NV was awarded Wine of the Year by France’s prestigious “Guide Hachette 2010” out of 36,000 wines including 2000 champagnes!
