The Eden Road wines all derive primarily from the ACT/NSW ‘High Country’ regions of Canberra District, Hilltops, Gundagai and Tumbarumba. Eden Road is supposed to suggest an ideal (as in the Garden of Eden), not a place.

The Tumbarumba Chardonnay is a blended selection of the best barrels from both the Courabyra and Maragle Vineyards. This Chardonnay is our flagship Chardonnay capturing the best of both vineyards in a blend that expresses everything that is great about Tumbarumba. Only 400 cases made.  The winemaking is kept very simple in order to express the high country and the rocky soil origins of the fruit. The fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed and transferred to French oak barriques for fermentation with indigenous yeast. The wine was then matured on gross lees in oak for 12 months and stirred on a weekly basis.
