John Horgan knows fine wine and he believes sauvignon blanc has a huge future in Pemberton. He cut his teeth with his brother Dennis Horgan at Leewuin Estate and then sold his share in 1980 to become a pioneer of the Pemberton region of WA. His leading Pemberton winery. Salitage is excelling with sauvignon blanc. Treehouse is their second label. 2008 was a particularly good vintage in Pemberton. This fine wine is all about tropical fruit (stonefruit and passionfruit) beautifully balanced by salad green characters. Lovely stuff.
