Carrick growers were part of the original growers who formed Mt Difficulty a few yrs back. Cairnmmuir Vineyard was planted in 1994 ( first vineyard to take advantage of the hot Cairnmuir Terraces in Bannockburn) An Additional 6 ha of Dijon clones were planted.
Lifted aroma of violets .muscular dark cherries. hint aniseed. spice. Plenty of depth and structure. Needs a couple of years in cellar.
